Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
As most already know, Rutgers is a big school. So expect the type of problems big schools tend to have. Administration can be a nightmare at times, and you will be competing with many others for your prof's time, depending on your major. That being said, the profs themselves are usually willing to make time for the student who asks for it. The student body is pretty amazing, however, and there are more than enough smart, friendly students to hang out with. It does take some effort to get things going, though, in just about everything at Rutgers. If you are looking to be coddled, this is not the school for you. But if you want a good school with a wide variety of academics programs (and one of the few NJ schools to have a passable Japanese program, I must say…) Rutgers is not a bad choice.
