Hi! I have a question about your Kenyon College review. You say, "If you're a good musician, you will be very popular." Do you mean a good classical musician (who plays in the orchestra) or a good musician in a rock band? Thanks |
Major: Art & Design Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm an Art History and German double major. My German classes through my two years have never had more than 8 students in them. Classes are always taught by head faculty (for all departments). As far as Art History goes, the department is extremely knowledgable and all professors are great lecturers and this seems to be a common theme for all departments. We are known for our English department and rightly so. Even if not an English major, one should take an English course at least once. There is tons to do on campus even if you're not into the whole party scene and you won't feel like an outsider. I'm a student athlete and the sports teams are fun and don't take too much time from academics. If you're a good musician, you will be very popular. There are a lot of rich kids, but not much pressure to conform. the individual is celebrated. However, because the school is so small, your business is NEVER your own and you will know almost everyone by the end of freshman year.
