Date: Aug 15 2003 Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time) Attending Vassar was academically challenging. That is where I learned what I was capable of. Graduate school was very easy in comparison - (is was a dual MS computer science and MBA program)As with all liberal arts programs, you are not very marketable upon graduation. And the liberal arts program has a strong liberal bent. I remember interviewing at Wall Street firms where everyone thought that Reaganonomics was the greatest thing invented. The professors at Vassar all taught us that Reagan’s programs were bad for the economy. Politics gets in the way of the teaching at places like Vassar. But overall, it was a good experience and one which I would not trade.
