Major: Geography and Geosciences (This Major's Salary over time)
Back in '68, I was too immature to go to U of I, so I came to SIU-E. What a great experience for a small town kid of 17. Took first two years to sample courses and mature, then decided to stay and focused on geography/geology with econ & history minors. Very low costs allowed me to go for MS & PhD. Work for profs like Koepke, Lampe, Hess & Yarbrough gained exposure & experience to land first job.
