Major: Chemistry (This Major's Salary over time)
The social life is based around fraternities and sororities. Because men can live in frat houses and women cannot live in sorority houses, and because frat houses hold most of the large parties on campus, this puts women in the position of going to the men's houses if they want to party. This leads to complicated gender issues in the social structure of the college—who has the power, what that entitles—that affect the gendering of the college beyond the buildings of the fraternities themselves. It is of course possible but more difficult to have a satisfying social life if you choose not to be a part of the campus Greek system.
