Stevens Institute of Technology is an excellent school. It's very challenging, but not impossible, and you have to work extremely hard to get A's. If you aren't motivated and studious, don't bother coming. I'm only a freshman at Stevens, and so far I absolutely love it. The faculty is very helpful, and the students are friendly. The school is small, so for the most part, everyone knows eachother. The location is EXCELLENT! Campus is located in the heart of Hoboken, New Jersey, just a ferry ride away from NYC. I find Stevens very difficult, you have to attend classes and be willing to spend many hours studying and doing work, but in the end it pays off. Stevens is ranked the #2 engineering school in the U.S. You're guaranteed a well-paying job upon graduation. I'm a chemical biology major, and I want to inform all the prospective students that Stevens is not a well-rounded school. It is a technical school - all about science and math. There are no "easy classes" or Gen. Ed. classes like at other schools. I'd recommend Stevens to anyone who wants to succeed. You have to work hard, but you'll love it, as long as you're willing to put in the hours. It's been the best experience of my life.
