Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
This is a great science school. Unfortunately I'm a communications major and journalism programs are hard come by at Cedar Crest. The communications department is not only loosing classes. The building where most of the com. offices are located, Hartzel Hall, is falling apart. The roof leaks and the walls are warping. However, new science buildings are being built and there is a new pool.I'll admit that I am a little bitter. When I was accepted, I was told that Cedar Crest had French and Photography…it doesn't. Don't take anything for granted. Check out the course book and make sure you visit!THERE IS ALMOST NO NIGHT LIFE HERE! Unless you have a car you are in trouble. Most people call this a "Suitcase School" meaning, when the weekend comes, everyone goes home. No one wants to hang around because there is nothing to do.The teachers and faculty are great and extremely approachable. Most of the students are also extremely friendly but I would only recommend this school to someone who was planning to study something like nuclear medicine or Chemistry or Environmental studies.
