Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
SUNY College at Potsdam is an excellent place for students who are serious about their education. Geographically the school is isolated in northern New York, but I find that the Potsdam's place on the map in no way influences the quality of education I receive here. The Psychology Department, in particular, is excellent. It is composed of bright, caring professors who go out of their way to be available to you. I have found the quality of most other departments at SUNY Potsdam to be average to above-average. The only exception is the Political Science department, which is sub-par due to an overt liberal bias. I would strongly urge any prospective Political Science majors to apply to a different university.
