SUNY College at Potsdam is an excellent place for students who are serious about their education. Geographically the school is isolated in northern New York, but I find that the Potsdam's place on the map in no way influences the quality of education I receive here. The Psychology Department, in particular, is excellent. It is composed of bright, caring professors who go out of their way to be available to you.

I have found the quality of most other departments at SUNY Potsdam to be average to above-average. The only exception is the Political Science department, which is sub-par due to an overt liberal bias. I would strongly urge any prospective Political Science majors to apply to a different university.
