Some of the comments made about Asians trying to act "ghetto," even though they are suposedly to be an economically advantaged group is a severely misguided view. Parts of New York City such as Brooklyn and Queens where many of these Asians, particularly Koreans come from are not idyllic, SUV suburbs but urban areas. And you wonder why they act ghetto? Well, it is because many of them were born and raised there. Not all Asians are the typical model minoirty. Making such direct assumptions just demonstartes the ignorance of those with such a close-minded mentality. On a different note, in response to one of the student, equality is not neccessarily equal treatment, but equal ACCESS to the same resources, rights, and opportunities in order to become a person who can be treated and judge equally to others. But apparently, inequalities still persist. Despite being in college, there are so many people who are so ill-educated in societal matters.
