Rules… by choosing BJU as your college you are subjecting yourself to them therefore as your temporary authority and does Christ not call us to obey them that have the rule over us? No obedience to God-ordained authority is hypocrisy if done through love for Christ. Those who claim that the university was too restrictive and tout a lack of grace and love reject those very things themselves by silently demanding that their own preferences be the rule instead of understanding the diverse constituency here and submitting themselves in love to the potentially more conservative standards of their brothers and sisters.

No one is perfect and BJU doesn't ask for perfect students. Students therefore cannot expect a perfect faculty, though they will find one here that genuinely loves the Lord and the students He has brought here.
