I recommend you work hard in high school but realize college is truly a second chance at life. I really should have worked harder in high school to increase the amount of schools I was accepted into. However, in an odd way I am glad that it ended up the other way around because otherwise I would have never gone to Valparaiso University. The friends and networking contacts I have made through Valpo will surely stay with me through life and also benefit everyone I become close throughout life. It is a wonderful experience for any mature, unique, open minded individual who is looking for a calm type of college life.
