I'm stuck at WVU because i am instate, on a full ride plus stipend, and my parents won't pay out of state tuition.

WVU is for some people and not for others. The campus may be the ugliest in history, partly because of it's inner-town location, partly because of the consistently drunk student body, and partly because the school doesn't give a shit. The acadmics are good if you are into succeeding in life; you get out what you put in. The dorms are shitty and not very close to campus, especially if you live in evansdale. The food is the definition of constant diarrhea.

there are good aspects, too. There is always something to do, always a party, always a bar special, and always someone in your hallway coming home drunk on any day of the week. You don't feel guilty about drinking 5 nights a week because you can usually pull it off. The entire city is crazy on gamedays and generally thursdays. High street is awesome, and Grant street is legendary (remember those bonfires and student riots, v-tech?). Most of the students live off-campus after freshman year, and it's awesome living in a city where everyone around you and every neighbor is a student.

If you are looking for a school to party and not give a shit and still get a degree, this is the place. If you are looking for a storybook college (which i was and still am) with a beautifully landscaped college, fuck this place. I don't like it here, but i like to drink, and it's not very tough.

But, man, there are so many beautiful women, it is almost unbelievable.
