Major: Economics (This Major's Salary over time)
I have had a wonderful academic experience so far at Baldwin Wallace. I am a mid-20's community college transfer student dual majoring in Economics/Finance. The quality of education has been second to none, due mostly to the close attention that only an esteemed small private school(haven't had one class over 17 students) can give.

The professors are well in touch with the modern business world and give excellent insight. They are also well connected to many area companies which gives great opportunities for valuable internships as well as employment.

As far as value is concerned, my personal experience has been exceptional as well, mainly due to the scholarships the university has given me(Transfer Scholar & Associates Award), which have cut the fees in half. However, I can see where many potential students may be a bit intimidated by the fees, as tuition-room-and-board will run around 25k a year…

There are some who have a semi-valid complaint about the lack of night life at this school. However, given the reputation of B-W as a small, private, and academically focused institution, I really don't know why anyone would expect anything else? If partying is high on your list of options of the "college experience", I suggest you attend Ohio University or Bowling Green, they are more known for their night life.

The only concern I have with my education here is whether or not the institution enjoys the same great distinction nationally as it does in the greater Cleveland or Ohio area. I would like to get out of this state in my lifetime and I'm hoping B-W has some notoriety outside the boundaries of this gray tundra we call Ohio… :)
