Date: Apr 16 2005 Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time) These comments, all of them, are consistent with my experience at Hamilton 25 years ago. The environment has not changed in the least. I found it to be boring, insulated, and lacking in student/professor interaction. While individual courses were often very well presented, almost no one I know from Hamilton worked in their major field after graduation. My advice? Start your visit to Hamilton at the Career Center. If you are interested in going to a few law schools or grad schools whith whom they have relationships, fine (you will see the same names come up over and over again). Check out the corporate recruiting liste. If you do not want to work for an accounting firm or a NY bank you may be on your own after school is out. Without a big name, this is a real impediment to many alumnae in the job market. For the money and the education, I would look elsewhere.
