I am a junior at PBA and I think it is a fantastic place to be attending college. I just read the last post droning on about PBA being a "fundamentalist Christian" place full of "snake handlers" and such. I am not a CHristian, and I have found it to be a place very friendly to everyone. The person who wrote that comment is lying to you. Whoever wrote it obviously had a poor experience, but is also obviously very close minded and sheltered. PBA is one of the most tolerant and open Christian universities in the US. Clearly this person has not read up on the number of Christian schools that are in fact institutions of insane fundamentalism. PBA is not one of those places. I would completely discard that person's comments because coming from an agnostic background myself, I really enjoy Palm Beach Atlantic. Because of the surrounding city, some of the most influential people in the world live right next door. PBA sits in the middle of the fastest growing job market in the country. Donald Trump lives South down the street and the Kennedys live just North up the street, with everyone in between. Your chances for success are much higher than many other places. Many students spend their summers working for companies with offices all over the world because the of PBA's proximity to the palm beach offices. There is no place I would rather be than Palm Beach Atlantic. I would be very careful while reading the comment that sharply criticizes this school using sophomoric college rhetoric using words he probably just recently learned. That person is wrong. I highly recommend checking out PBA.
