I've read the other comments on this site and I feel for those who didn't have a good experience. BYU has changed a lot and some of the alumni who've commented haven't been students there for decades. I found my education to be incredibly stimulating and thought-provoking. Yes BYU has its shortcomings, but I feel that the people, teachers, and instruction that I experienced far outweigh the negatives. I've been accepted to several graduate schools to study philosophy including schools like NYU and I feel having a degree from BYU helped me get that position and the others I have been offered.
