This was the worst experience I ever had. The campus and dorms are very unsafe. While I was walking from the dorms to the college I was robbed by three prostitues. I was terrified, the school didn't do anything. They told me at the University in Paris happened the same. I dropped the charges against the prostitutes because I was really afraid, they lived in the dorms neighborhood. Other day while I was walking I saw two men whith guns getting into a car. It's really unsafe. The curriculum for art is not good enough. You as a student are not respected as an adult they treat you as a child. They kick you out from the dorms, if they want for any stupid reason and they do not care if you have any place to go. Even though you have already prepaid the dorms for the school year. Also was something going on with the financial aid. After you have applied for financial aid you are supposed to receive an award letter specifing the amounts awarded from the federal dept. of education. You never get a letter you just sign a lot of papers but don't know the exact amounts. After financial aid cover your tuition you are supposed to receive the money left. They say they will keep it for the next year. I have studied at other institutions in U.S. and they always give the money left. It is the worst place to learn or improve your English because everybody speaks Spanish in Miami. I transfer to an Art Institute in New York and was the best decision I ever made.
