I wanted to attend a small school where the focus was on learning and education. The teachers are truly interested in you as a person, as is the administration. I have had personal experiences that demonstrate great caring. Colby students are friendly and layed back. Yes many students are wealthy. (I am not one of them.) If you come to this school and you are not wealthy, most people will assume you have money because you are at Colby. Just realize you are part of the cultural diversity that is not always recognized by students on campus. Most students will accept you for who you are, even if they are a bit naive.
