Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
First off…TLU isn't for everyone! There are definitely issues at this school that most people can't handle. At every school there are positive and negative this that individuals must deal with. The diversity on the campus is a major issue that TLU likes to push. When in actuality, there is very little diversity! Some students understand what it means to interact with students of other ethnicities, but the majority don't. It takes a strong person (marginalized) to attend this school. There is covert and sometimes blatant "racism" (I put it in quotes because the term race has no scientific proof of existence) that marginalized (minority) students must face everyday. I can handle such acts and do everything that I can to raise an awareness with the administration and the student body. I don't think that I would choose to attend another university only because there is so much work that needs to be done here.Be very sure of the school you choose.
