I've never understood mechanics. Maybe that's why they don't hire me anywhere. |
If I had such teachers, I would probably hate studying at the university. As well as computer science. I was very lucky with the teachers and therefore I achieved little success in my work. Now I hold a good position in the IT office. Recently, they offered this system to the boss, and he asked how it was better than the one that was installed in our office at the moment. I gave him a couple of arguments and he immediately agreed to buy the most complete set. That's what education means. |
Major: Mechanical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
This school is a joke. If you are looking for that traditional college feel and atmosphere, don’t come to UofL. This is basically a large commuter school. It gets dull and boring if you actually live on campus, students are not exactly the friendly type. Everything around town closes after 9 pm, so don’t come here looking for a party. The greeks, although small in nature, control the campus and are the only source of entertainment as far as partying goes. If you are black or another minority, you may feel segregated and feel like you do not belong here. Students don’t go out of their way to make minorities feel welcomed, they actually push minorities further and further away and at times become racist in nature. The academics are really bad. I think my high school classes were a lot easier; however, I went to a private high school, not a public high school. Overall, UofL seems like a third rate university, I don’t feel as if I have learned anything that I didn’t already know. Since my dad forced me to come here because he played football here, I am stuck. If you are a football or basketball player, then life maybe a little better as you will get everything handed to you, even grades if need, and I am not joking. If you are a regular student, it really sucks.
