Academically, you can find what you're looking for at Kenyon. There are a number of classes, professors, and even departments that grade easily, but there are also classes that you will be challenged in. There are opportunities for independent research and professors who will be happy to talk to you in office hours even after your out of their classes. There are also a number of things that I found difficult while at Kenyon. We really are in the middle of nowhere and the social scene is dominated by fraternities. The student body is incredibly white and moneyed, and socially as well as in classes, that particular viewpoint dominates. We're very knee-jerk liberal: the area voted very heavily Democratic, but I get the sense that students aren't very concerned about what's going on in the world on a day-to-day basis. We're such a small campus that gossip travels quickly, and you can't avoid people you've broken up/fallen out in various ways with.
