Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I haven't actually attended MCLA, but so far I am very satisfied with my experiences there. Last year, I attended Columbia College of Chicago and I was looking forward to college, but Columbia was a big let down. They charged too much for giving basically no resources (no meal plan, horrible housing, terrible residence life staff, lousy exxuses for gen ed's). So I applied to five transfer schools and was admitted to four. I was admitted to Smith college, Hampshire College, Uconn, and MCLA.Even though I was admitted to far better reputable schools than MCLA, there were problems. Some schools didn't take enough credits or weren't generous enough with financial aid. So that is initially why I decided upon MCLA. Though it was a safety school at first, they really surprised me. They not only admitted me into their honors program, but they took all my credits and they are very cheap for in state students. It's a residential college so you're recquired to live on campus for three years, so there is a big community feel and I am told res life there treats students very well. I'm sure my experiences at MCLA will be great!
