MSU is a great school, it is beautiful, well known and a great experience. It can feel overwhelming large when you first arrive as a freshman but quickly shrinks with time. My best advice is to get involoved, it will be much easier to meet people, as sometimes the huge dorms and lectures can be impersonal and less open to friend making. Enjoy your time here you will love it.
