I had a TON of debt after graduating from Wheaton even after the grants that I did receive. Because I went into private/non-profit work, I definitely didn't earn enough to pay back my debt quickly. I thought the majority of the all-female student body were very well-to-do financially and didn't mix well with those of us who were not. It was not a pleasant experience and I choose not to return for reunions, etc.

From what I read in the publications now, it looks like a more interesting co-ed education for people. I hope the student body is more open-minded and come from more diverse income backgrounds. I certainly could have been successful without the Wheaton education. I did enjoy the women-focused learning experience, however.
