Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I started as a freshman at a huge Texas university and felt like a number. Plus the campus I was on was very prejudice. At UTPA the environment is very personable and friendly. There is a large percent of hispanics but they make you feel at home. For the most part, my professors were very helpful and always helped me succeed in my classes. There is a very active student life and many activities to chose from. Edinburg is a small city, but McAllen has a lot of stuff to do and South Padre Island isn't far. Over all my experience was awesome!
