SUNY Brockport has been a good experience for me. I have grown more personally in the past five years than I ever thought possible. For entering students: this college is what you make of it. If you're willing to work hard and get yourself out there you will probably benefit from SUNY Brockport. If you need someone to hold your hand, go somewhere else. Most faculty here value students who think for themselves and are proactive about their education. Faculty are willing to give you their utmost attention as long as you don't waste their time. (Kind of like the real world, huh?) I did a semester abroad through this college and it was a positive life-changing experience. In summary, for those who are ready to take on the challenge of improving themselves through hard work, this might be the place for you.
