Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
I am an Asian, non-Baptist, political moderate, middle-class (not rich!)—and I love it here at Baylor. Maybe it's just the circles I run in, but I've never felt totally ostracized here. True, I do get misrepresented and ostracized in terms of some of my religious convictions, but other than that it's been really easy for me to make friends and get into the intellectual and social scene here. The thing is this: Don't stereotype the school. There are pockets for everyone, if you just look for them. Even though it's a Christian school (and I would even tend to question that at times, heh), not all of us are fundamentalist Bible-thumpers. :)
