Rutgers was a great choice for me. Prospective students should not overlook the fact you are one hour from New York and Philadelphia. You are also located in a dense and productive state, there are job opportunities in the area. Also, you are thirty minutes from the beach during summers. And finally, if you take hard classes at Rutgers you will be challenged and it's likely you will learn something.
