If you want to attend a small university that will treat you like a human being instead of just a number, the the University of Mobile is a good choice. Being a Southern Baptist University, there is a great emphasis on Christanity but not in an oppresive way. Ethics and morality are stressed in all aspects of campus life. The atmosphere is conservative, but open to varying viewpoints. If you are liberal in your religious and political beliefs, this may not be the school for you. The campus is attractive and the faculty and staff are very nice. Like any school, you get what you put into it. There are student clubs and organizations and NAIA sports. Mobile and the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are close by.
