Davenport University

I chose Davenport University because of what I thought would be a quality education that would help to make me competitive in the job market. First off, the name of Davenport is aligned with the word joke; the two are one in the same. The University has no idea what a University is all about but really sells students on this "great college experience" which I have as of yet to experience. That was one of my many disappointments. The staff in the front office at the Lettinga campus are all very nice but it is unfortunate that none of them are able to keep their jobs since the President is constantly trying to change things…which means getting rid of people. A couple of my advisors as well as admissions reps were either let go or left because of how poorly they had been treated as well as how the students best interests are left out. That leads me to another key point, students have no voice at this school. It doesn't matter if you pay lots in tuition, you have no say and it is sad. I pay a good amount to attend this joke of a school and I cannot voice to anyone what my concerns are? Students should be able to share their thoughts on aspects of their school, but this is where I realized I was wrong, this is not my school, it is the Presidents…whose name is everywhere on campus. ANOTHER BIG JOKE!!!
