Major: Design Arts - Industrial Design/Graphic Design/etc (This Major's Salary over time)
Don't underestimate the importance of picking the right major. Three years of your time at RISD will be spent in this department, so you want to make sure it is a good fit! I cannot stress enough that this will truly make or break your experience at this school. Advice: Go with a fine arts major if you are unsure about your focus. This will allow you to explore yourself a bit more within a less rigid environment. The design majors tend be fairly strict in their methods, most often it's their way or no way. If you do pick one of these majors be sure not to compromise your convictions for your grade point average. It's your education, you may as well have a little fun with it!
