Major: Industrial Operations Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
UD is a great school! Academics here are very good, especially engineering and business. Most students and faculty are friendly and approachable. There is definitely a real sense of community here (school pride, lots of completely open parties, student involvement, etc.). The city of Dayton is kind of boring, but life on campus definitely makes up for this. Other people really care about you at UD. At how many other schools will you find the assistant dean teaching introductory undergrad classes? I've even walked by the president of the university, who promptly asked how I was doing, then talked with me one-on-one for 5 or 10 minutes. Overall, UD is a great place to spend your college years. Leaving here will be a sad experience. Some advice: Go on as many Fall/Spring BreakOuts as possible, in addition to other service opportunities. For example, I went to Biloxi and New Orleans to assist with the cleanup and rebuilding. Both were great experiences. Also, go on Metanoia during Soph., Jr, or Sr year. Doing this was the best decision I have ever made.
