Why would anyone pick CNU over William and Mary? It makes no sense. |
Major: Communications (This Major's Salary over time)
CNU was my first choice of college and I even got into William & Mary. I enjoyed its campus and loved the tour, however, as freshman year went on and sophomore year began I realized that it is not what it is cracked up to be. Disregard when people say that teachers do not speak English well, they are always understood unless the student does not pay attention. The dorms, too, are nice. Unless, of course, you are unlucky enough (aka myself) to be placed into Barclay apartments or Warwick suites. The classes that I have taken have been work and not hard but not easy. It truly depends on your professor versus the actual class. The biggest problem with the school is the student body and the outside activities. The alcohol violations are pretty intense, but I drank every weekend last year and never got in trouble. Once you come to your senses and do not want to drink anymore than you will realize that there is nothing to do. The parties are none to fun and when you finally find one it probably will not live up to expectations. If you don't party then you either go home or do homework on weekends. I opt for the former. They also do a horrible job picking roomate and 1/2 of my hall (no joke) from freshman year has transferred…and I will be among those in the fall.
