Before attending Brooks I worked as a graphic artist who had a little experience making movies. I knew what I wanted as a career and found that Brooks could give me the tools to broaden my horizons and help me pursue a career as an editor. Brooks is extremely challenging, but if you love doing it, it is rewarding. There are awesome sets, industry standard equipment (from lighting to cameras), faculty that is knowledgeable and experienced, and tons of students that share the love of being creative. Everything is there for you, but you have to be the one to use every opportunity to make it happen.
