Buffalo State is a fantastic environment for any prospective student. It is an extremely diverse environment, so be ready to meet all kinds of people. As a former student-athlete at the college, I can knowingly say that the athletics department and recreational opportunities are fantastic and exciting. Academics are just challenging enough; they make you think and you'll definitely put your money to good use, but you'll have time for a social life, too. The city of Buffalo is a wonderful place with LOTS to do. Buffalo State is located in Elmwood Village, a vibrant neighborhood packed with bars, restaurants, boutiques and galleries. I would definitely go back if I could, and you better believe if they had my intended area of graduate study, I would have.
