basically if you already know people that go here and will invite you to their house to party, you'll like it.

UD students in the ghetto have this belief of "community" meaning that you can pretty much go to any house that looks like it has a party going on. however, usually if you do this you will feel pretty out of place and it doesnt end up being very fun. also, nobody here knows how to drink… people who drink on the weekends always get blacked out drunk.

there is absolutely NOTHING to do on the weekends if you dont drink. i used to drink and party in high school and now that im here i dont because the parties are ridiculously stupid. the city of dayton has nothing except for a few malls.

i came from out of state… about 40% of students are out of staters.. in my opinion people from Ohio mostly become friends with other people from ohio and people they went to high school with. my group of about 7 are all from different states, none being ohio. i think out of staters are more accepting and willing to make friends.
