Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
It has been awhile since I attended. I would have been a member of the class of 1986 had I not left the year before. I found that if you were a member of the working class and had to have a job, you didn't fit in. The Dean of Students actually had the nerve to ask me what I had a job for. I told her, And these people were supposed to be preparing me for LIFE? Really… It was also difficult for a working student to attend any school activities. They were all held around the 4 pm mark when I had to head to my part-time job. The dorms at the time were filthy. Good luck finding a bathroom or shower stall on a Sunday morning that wasn't covered in vomit from the drunken antics on Friday and Saturday nights. Hopefully, that has improved. To this day I still get the heebie-jeebies driving past that brick wall on Madison Avenue. In the end, I wound up going to Caldwell College at night and finished with a 3.89 GPA, and a double-major. I should have done that from the beginning.
