I graduated from the Biology/Exercise Science program and had a great experience. I will admit that the surrounding town is not ideal by any means. There is a crime/violence problem and students should be careful. However, even as a student who lived off campus, I had good experiences with the "townies" as well. Simply put, they are human too so don't act like you are better than they are—you will probably meet some pretty decent and interesting people. I would recommend FSC if you are not afraid of urban culture(good and bad).
