I was a 3rd year transfer student this year and honestly, coming from a small private school, the change was so good. I've met amazing people within the first week of classes. I also went to rush, which was an amazing way to meet people. Rush was not something I was expecting to do, as I've never considered myself the "Frat boy type" but it showed me that no matter what, you can always fit into a fraternity because each chapter is so different. You just have to get involved. The students may not approach you, but if you approach them, I haven't met an unfriendly person yet.
