I was a freshman at salve, and left before my sophomore year for many reasons. First of all, newport is incredible, it was the number one reason i went and stayed at salve for a full year. The cops are asshole and no one can have parties so social life is lame. Parties are really selective—you have to know someone WELL to go. Living on campus sucks, its a dry campus, and if your into partying you will seriously feel like you are missing out on the college experience. If you are someone who isn't that in to partying, and when you do it's only on the weekends, than salve would be great for you. The teachers are TERRIBLE. I had one teacher who i absolutely loved—as for the others, liberal, selfish, and horrible at communicating info. All my teachers acted as though they were in a rush or too busy doing other things, and as a result i felt seriously neglected as a student. lots of good pot though, for you stoners.
