Major: Music - Performance (This Major's Salary over time)
NEC is a top notch conservatory with excellent faculty, eextremely hardworking students, wonderful orchestra and chamber concerts, and great career services! That being said, the social atmosphere could use a lot of work. THere are virtually no extracirricular clubs, and no one feels encouraged to get to know anyone else. THis can change, however. Recently a googlegroups page was added for NEC students, and people can EASILY get updates through their gmail accounts on the goings-on of NEC life. Also, one can easily start a club, if they get a certain number of people interested (enough to form an eboard of some kind).
