I plan to apply for CSUN this Fall Semester but I heard some comments that the counselors and professors are not really good and polite. Can u give me a advice about this. I don't want to waste my time |
Northridge is a stinky ghetto and isn't a real college town by any means. |
Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
My comment is mainly for the surrounding city. Almost all of these comments don't mention the city. The city is called Northridge which is located in the San Fernando Valley of California. I personally have not been to the campus though I've heard good and bad things about this school (what school doesn't). The school is across the street from a LAPL (Los Angeles Public Library). I enjoy the type of Young Adult books they have. The Mall (a very nice one) is about a 5 minute drive from the school. It has a theater and good restaurants. (Avoid MACARONI GRILL) The area of the school is nice. When it rains it…RAINS. But if you enjoy the summer, you will get alot of heat here. The apartments costs around I am not sure, but I believe they went up. Everything has gone up in price.Near the school is a 99 cent store, a Blockbuster, a Ralph's, a McDonalds and a salon (more stores of course).ALL IN ALL I enjoy the city. BUT I HATE THE HEAT. It gets SUPER HOT in the summer.Hope this helped. e-mail me if you need more info on the city.
