Saint Augustine College

The school was not aware of the fact that we did not have an instructor for 3 weeks. Once they found out, three different instructors were sent. All students graduated from the class with A's although we learned nothing.

The living conditions are deplorable

Students are violent. We had girls throwing one another down stairs due to disputes over guys. One girl set another girl's room door on fire when she thought that the other young lady might win a door decorating contest during the Christmas holiday.

Theft is a huge problem

The campus library closed early several times when I was the only student using the facility. I was forced to visit go somewhere else to study.

The school lies about scholarships. Every student at the school is on some sort of scholarship. However, others are promised scholarships. Their families drive from other states to drop the student off, only to discover that the staff refused to follow through and there was no scholarship after all.

A number of times I was refused entry into the cafeteria when any little issue arose - I needed to see my advisor, there was $100 balance due on my account, a school error, etc. The school flags the student's account in these instances and the student is refused nourishment.

Finally, an instructor let us know that she might not show up for class at times. She encouraged us to be supportive of her absences and indicated that she would do the same for us.

This place has been a complete waste of my money.
