This school is absolutely beautiful. The UM is rather picturesque. It is located by d town Miami, so there is always something to do every night of the week. The dorms are actually nice for college dorms. I am an out of state student from Hartford Connecticut, who was basically looking for a place with warm weather and palm trees, and UM seemed perfect for me. The professors are fairly strict and some even a bit arrogant at times. The Greek Life at UM is a bit disappointing, I was told it was a lot bigger, but alas it is not. My sorority does not even have it's own house, and we are the biggest sorority on campus. I was between UM and UF. Honestly, aside from the beach 5 minutes away, and downtown Miami, I would have much rather gone to UF. I am actually thinking about transferring next semester.
