Baldwin-Wallace is the school to attend if you want a quality education and are willing to work for it. Because of the small class sizes, students are forced to participate and actually learn material—not just coast through. At the same time, it is easy to be a stand-out student in your classes if you wish. Professors are human, and if they see you participate and give your best that will reflect in your grade. This is a good school to attend if you wish to double major. More assignments are given to help conceptualize ideas; there is very little time wasted on busy work. However, this can vary from class to class.

My advice to business majors is to take calculus if you plan on going to grad school. It is not a required class but highly recomended. BWC has the resources one needs, but doesn't make all of them mandatory as they should. Therefore, students in any major should take the liberty of making sure they take the right classes to make them competitive and marketable after graduation. It may not be considered in your required coursework.

Social life may be lacking a little bit because many people commute, and Cleveland is right down the street. However, I have never had a problem finding a party on campus. You have to put yourself out there and make an effort to get to know people or you'll be stuck in your dorm room alone on a friday night, even though residence life is well above average. Carmel is the campus's hotel and Ernsthausen resembles a ski lodge. The first year area is an experience.
