It really depends on you what you take away from a Stevens education. In 4 years, I obtained a Bachelors and a Masters and completed two CO-OP work assignments (before I dropped out of the COOP program). The education was top notch. I had friends at Ivy league schools and top 20 schools and they used the same textbooks and had very similar educations. In fact, we all got really prestigious jobs. I'm not saying everyone graduates with an amazing job but if you work hard (like I did), you'll receive a nice salary and many job offers. If you are going to college for an education and career services, then Stevens is excellent. Professors are always available and its surprising that more students don't take advantage of this opportunity. Also, instead of waiting months to make an appointment with career services (like in other schools), I would drop in the office all the time and that really helped me with my job search. The social scene was somewhat lacking. Many students go home on the weekends, play world of warcraft in their rooms, or just drink in their rooms with a close group of friends. The people who have easier degrees drink and party at the frats all the time. I loved how close the school is to NYC but it was often difficult to get fellow students to come to the city with me. During my time at school, there weren't too many attractive girls but I hear that the situation is improving as more women are entering with easier majors like B&T and liberal arts. There's always NYU and FIT. ;)

I'm not saying that Stevens is the most amazing school ever, it has its flaws, but if you work hard, you'll land the job that you want.

commentJust to clarify - the reason more women (or is it just attractive women) are enrolling at SIT is because there are now EASIER majors?
