This college is terrible. I would never suggest going to this school. to start off It's my first year at wentworth, my major is Industrial Design. let me state that that this school has a Sophomore review in which they take a look at your work and decide if they want you to go on to your third year or not.. so in other words if you dont make it, tough shit you just wasted your money. only about 30% of the INDS students make it to there third year. on top of the HUGE amount of money you pay to go to the college, the college is in terrible conditions.. put it this way.. wentworth is like starwars everything is in such terrible condition but just seems to work and they have no intention to fix anything because frankly they don't care… I live in baker hall (the freshman dorms) and the guys bathroom on my side of the floor has no urinals which if you can imagine with all guys would get quite gross. also at the start of the year and about once every 2 weeks currently are bathroom floods… the water pressure for the showers is pitiful.. there are holes in the ceiling, tiles are falling off the walls.. its gross.. its disgusting.. and in shit condition… the rooms are small there's one door and one window.. there is no moving air in the whole building during the winter the dorms are stuffy and stale because its too cold to have the windows open and there are no air vents or anything to circulate the air in the entire building. The "extra" long beds are not long at all (im 6'4) and my feet stick off the bed… there is a room to work in with 2 drafting tables which are mostly always being used because the tables in your room are just NOT big enough to do work on (and forget it if your are brining a pc from home…) the desks and furniture look like shit, they're cut up. also for most rooms the shades do not work ( i have to jam a glue stick into mine for it to stay. ) also this is annoying if your face 610 the other dorms because they leave there common room lights on all night which lights up everyones rooms in baker. also a fun fact is so ive heard that the baker dorms was actually designed by someone who designed prisons…

on another note the security here is TERRIBLE there have been 3 muggings on campus 2 of which were at gunpoint. just this year a drunk man was let into the build and walked to room to room trying to steal things regardless if you were in your room or not… also walking by the "headquarters" of the wit police the people are supposed to be monitoring the cameras are mostly always playing games or on facebook instead of watching for our safty. since the police are so useless here they and since they have nothing better to do, they take vandalism very seriously to the point where its just ridiculous. also just another fun fact is the cars they have for the wit police are VERY nice for a campus that you can run across in about 2 minutes…

DONT eat here unless you want to feel terrible for the rest of the day. mostly all of the people who make your food are depressed and not very friendly. the food its AWFUL some days you can get stir-fry which is always good. but on a normal day the food is cold, bad, and not cooked enough…

Mostly all the events here (like opening week) are terribly planned and really most of the time suck and are not fun to get through.

You get spammed by email sent from wentworth about stupid events happening on campus.

the internet here at a TECH SCHOOL is TERRIBLE dont expect to be able to play online games or talk on skype or ventrillo without lag. the internet also goes down at least 4-5 times a week. the wifi is awful and isnt worth using. OIT, the people who are supposed to fix and monitor the internet, couldn't be more incompetent and useless we currently have no internet on just our floor of baker i have 1 bar of wifi as i type this.. it wont be fixed till monday because OIT doesn't work on the weekend.

The elevator in baker hall is a deathtrap im waiting to hear about it falling and killing everyone inside…

INDS major is unfair… the average grade is a C for almost everything… so if your planning on getting good grades forget it.. also for housing for 2nd year the quality of your room depends on your grades I.E. you get good grades you have a better chance of getting a better room.. also you dont design to what people you design to what your teacher likes. also they have no problem ruining your work that you have worked hours on.

Also the Photoshop and CAD classes do not teach you how to actually use the program which could not be more important. you have to learn it by yourself.

THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH GIRLS IN THIS COLLEGE. IT SUCKS. the cleaning staff are worthless and incompetent and cannot do there jobs correctly.

I cannot stress enough how much this school sucks…
