Major: Public Policy (This Major's Salary over time)
The University's (graduate) school of public policy and administration is mediocre at best. If you are a driven individual looking to be intellectually stimulated and challenged or are expecting to gain skills that will benefit future career objectives this program will likely be a disapointment. If, however, you lack motivation and don't mind a largely useless faculty this may be the program for you.The program lacks the funds to attract engaging, outside faculty with experience in the realm of public policy/administration. Many of the faculty received their degrees from this program (a huge red flag) and have no personal experience working in the public sector. The University, overall, is only concerned with attracting research dollars to meet is Top 20" goals. Sadly, it has lost sight of adequately educating students.
