UH has some really good programs, like Asian Studies and Chinese language. If you have an interest in this area, then go to UH (unless you can get into an ivy-league school—then go there for the networking). They don't push you, so you have to push yourself to excel. Your peers wont push you either because many of them are there to have fun. Or are from Hawaii and UH is basically a community college for them.

UH is a great place if you have incredible self discipline, enjoy working hard on your own and playing hard on the beach! Dont expect employers to look at your resume and say, Wow you went to UH! They will most likely say, Wow you're so lucky you lived in Hawaii. (And think you are a slacker)
