The English Writing department is overseen by Christopher Bakken. He is the most condescending and pompous man in the world. I don't recommend attempting the writing track with him unless you're masochistic. He will also blow you off if he feels(or wants to pretend) that you are upset. Apparently being upset is grounds for cutting off all communication with a student. I doubt Allegheny campus supports this.

The classes in the Dance department are really nice, as are the professors over there.

Don't live in Brooks. It is falling apart all the time. The bathrooms are always nasty and the housekeeping staff NEVER seem to clean it appropriately(or maybe girls are just excessively gross).
